Herc Rentals Leases 30,892 Sq. Ft. in Fairfield

Heavy equipment rental company Herc Rentals Inc. has signed a lease with Alterra Property Group for 30,892 sq. ft. of space at 1200 Chesapeake Ave. in Fairfield in South Baltimore. Herc, which expects to occupy the 8.19-acre site by the end of year, is based in Florida and has more than 400 branches in the United States and Canada.

South Baltimore Warehouse Sells for $6.9 Million

A 62,376 sq. ft. warehouse building on 3.44 acres in the Wilhelm Park neighborhood of Baltimore recently sold for $6.9 million. The building was acquired by Faropoint, a Hoboken, New Jersey-based real estate investment group which “focuses on last-mile industrial real estate.”
