Arnold Packaging Announces Move and Expansion to Sparrows Point

Morrell Park-based Arnold Packaging announced today it will relocate next year to a new 91,200 sq. ft. facility at the 3,300-acre Tradepoint Atlantic development in Sparrows Point. This new facility is a 21,000 sq. ft. increase over its current footprint in South Baltimore. Its sister company Arnold Automation will also share the new building as well as Tegeler Construction & Supply.

Light Industrial Development Proposed for Former Seton Keough High School

A bill is currently moving through the Baltimore City Council to convert the former Seton Keough High School campus at 1201 Caton Ave., which is also currently the home of Pre-K to 8th grade Holy Angels Catholic School, to a I-1 light industrial zoning. Seton Keough closed in 2017, and Holy Angels students will be able to transfer next year to Mother Mary Lange Catholic School which is under construction in Poppleton.

Scott Presler, a Northern Virginia-based political activist who has been coordinating large community cleanups in Baltimore and other cities around the country since last year, has another one planned today for the Morrell Park community of South Baltimore.
