Caves Valley Partners (CVP) presented plans today to the Baltimore City Planning Department’s Urban Design and Architecture Advisory Panel (UDAAP) for a six-story, 67,000 sq. ft. office building at 160 W. Baltimore Soup Company Closes at 2 East Wells

A little less than nine months after opening, Baltimore Soup Company (Balt Soup Co) closed its 2,000 sq. ft. restaurant at 2 East Wells. Balt Soup Co was the first business to open in the first-floor retail space at the 153-unit apartment building that opened in 2015. Minnow operates in another first-floor retail space in the building.

DPW says the cans have several advantages including their ability to confine litter and prevent it from overflowing, keep rodents away, and transmit data that lets DPW staff know when trash needs to be picked up. The large, black cube cans have a Baltimore City seal, a “Keep Baltimore Clean” panel, and a currently-vacant space for advertisements.
