Pigtown Main Street Announcement:

From Noon – 3pm we’ll be hanging out selling flowering plants that are great for container gardening or planting in the ground 🙂

Pigtown Main Street received a Neighborhood Greening Grant from Parks & People Foundation to do a beautification service project. We’ll be installing 5 new planters at 929 Washington Blvd, working with area youth so they can earn service learning hours required for graduation. They will begin the project at 12, finishing up by 1pm. Come check out their hard work!

At 12:30 pm, join us and Zero Litter for a Washington Boulevard littler cleanup. Zero Litter is a new organization dedicated to eradicating litter throughout Baltimore. Be part of our cleanup army as we march down The Boulevard, picking up litter along the way. Bring your friends and neighbors as we make Pigtown a cleaner place!

From 1pm-3pm we’re inviting area groups to set up tables and offer activities on gardening, greening, and all of nature’s beauty. If you would like to share your own greening knowledge or activity by hosting a table, please message us on Facebook. Space is limited!
