In regards to the homicide that took place on Saturday, August 9th, here is the statement from Baltimore City Police Department Southern District Major Ian Dombroski:

We had a homicide which occurred inside a home in the 1500 block of Marshall Street late Saturday night. A 42-year-old woman was stabbed in the back. She, along with others appeared to be squatting inside the home after home owner passed away several months ago. There also was apparently a level of drug use occuring inside the home. I will keep you updated as the investigation progresses.

The boyfriend finally confessed to killing the female. There was apparently an argument over doing the dishes. The case is closed and the suspect is under arrest.
