Local Residents Team up to Deliver Pizzas, Drinks and Snacks to Area First Responders

| April 29, 2015 | 1 Comments

Rick and Elyssa Yankelov and their son Micah teamed up today to deliver 30 Maria D’s pizzas, along with sodas and waters to first responders in South Baltimore. The food and drinks were dropped off at the Baltimore Police Southern District Station, the Baltimore Fire Department Second Battalion Engine Company 2 on Light Street in Federal Hill, and every corner they could find members of the Army National Guard.

They thanked neighbors Leann Ratnow, Michelle Wakefield, Christopher Riehl, Ryan Cooper, and Rihanna Scholz for helping to make this possible.

Many other groups of neighbors have been collecting and delivering drinks and snacks to area responders today. Additional supplies can be dropped off at No Idea Tavern.

Member bars and restaurants from the Federal Hill Hospitality Association have also been offering free meals to area first responders.
