From Baltimore Police Department Southern District Captain Sean Mahoney:
What happened today was one of our officers had turned off Key Hwy. and was traveling south on McComas Street when he observed two males discharging firearms on the median under the 95 overpass. He stopped his car and pursued them on foot and they were apprehended in the woods on CSX property just west of McComas Street (Across from Harris Teeter off Key Hwy.). They both have pending charges related to this offense.
Separately, at the same time a Maryland Transportation Officer heard the discharging and noted a car trespassing on their property. He stopped the car and ended up arresting two occupants for a Handgun Violation and CDS.
No officers discharged their weapons and no officers or civilians were hurt.
