Meet Hampton!  He’s a 2 year old terrier mix.  He is definitely one good looking boy – those eyes of his are captivating!  But his charms don’t stop there…he is very friendly, and just loves affection.  After a fun romp around the play yard he loves to sidle up and soak up some love.  He also knows how to sit, and would love someone to teach him even more!

Coco Mama is a retriever mix that’s a little over a year old.  She’s a terrific puppy who is eager to learn and have fun.  She is reportedly housetrained and did well in a crate.  She loves all people of any age and she has not met a dog that she doesn’t want to play with.  All dogs have loved her, too.  Coco would love a home where she receives plenty of exercise followed by some cuddle time on the couch at the end of the day.

Bonnie is a sweet, happy, and friendly 1 ½ year old terrier mix.  She loves nothing more than to just shower you with kisses.  Don’t let her “cherry eye” distract you from her charm.  Cherry eyes are not uncommon, and are a very simple surgical fix, which is generally done when they are altered.  Bonnie really wants to meet her forever family so she can show them just how much love she has to lavish upon them!

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi.  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact Joe at JMiletti@barcsanimalshelter.org or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact foster@baltimoreanimalshelter.org.  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the  BARCS website.
