Full Tilt Brewing Release:

November 5, 2013; Canton, Baltimore, Maryland-FULL TILT BREWING, working with the legendary DeBaufre Bakeries, is set to release their combined effort of cookies and beer.

FULL TILT BREWING (FTB), Baltimore’s newest craft beer producer, is excited to announce their initial release of their first winter seasonal, “BERGER COOKIE CHOCOLATE STOUT.”  Their newest addition to the ever growing craft beer market will take place on Friday, November 15th at The Admiral’s Cup in Fells Point, 1647 Thames St, Baltimore, Maryland 21231.  The first pint of “Berger Cookie Chocolate Stout” will be poured at 7:00 pm sharp.  Berger Cookie draft pints will be sold for $5 all night.

Brewing their beers in Baltimore, FTB tries to incorporate as much Charm City as possible into their beers as a tribute to the city they adore. It only made sense that when it came time to brew a stout they would incorporate Baltimore’s legendary dessert, the Berger Cookie. The Berger Cookie can be traced back to 1835 when German immigrant Henry Berger arrived in the United States and opened a bakery in East Baltimore. The Berger Cookie recipe has been owned and baked by DeBaufre Bakeries, Inc. since 1969, becoming the go-to fudge treat around Baltimore and earning the nickname, “The Anytime Cookie.” Now, like the fudge and shortbread wafers themselves, Berger and Full Tilt have collaborated to bring you the ultimate chocolate beer. This rich, creamy Sweet Stout will draw you in with its cookie aroma and leave you craving more after your last chocolaty sip.

In addition to the Berger Cookie beer on draft, FTB and The Admiral’s Cup will also be offering a cask version of the beer unfiltered and served at room temperature with bourbon-soaked oak chips added. Also, there will be two cases of FTB pint glasses given away to the first 48 patrons to order a Berger Cookie beer. FTB will also be supplying a couple hundred Berger Cookies with which the Admiral’s Cup bartenders will be garnishing the glasses to complete the Berger Cookie and FTB collaborative experience.

As of right now this beer is slated to be served around the region as a seasonal offering through the winter. However, the option is available to them to continue serving this year-round should the demand still be there.

FULL TILT BREWING comes from the background of not-cutting corners while its owners are passionate about every aspect of what they do.  As it states on the opening page of their website, “Why do something half assed when you can do it full tilt?” and “Never slow down, never settle for less, and never be content with anything other than the best.” This newest addition to the FTB line of brews continues that mantra.
