This traditionally is a great time to buy. There are programs available for Baltimore City Buyers, below are a few incentives you might be missing!
Government Based Incentive Programs
- Live Near Your Work– Up to $5,000 towards closing costs
- Homestead Tax Credit

- The Veterans and Military Family Mortgage Program (Homefront)– Mortgage rate discount of 0.25% and $5,000 grant
- Good Neighbors Program – $5,000 grant
- Buying Into Baltimore Program – $5,000 grant
Prudential PenFed Realty Based Incentive Programs
As a member of Pentagon Federal Credit Union, there are five programs available to you when working with a real estate agent within our network. Below is a summary of each available program:
- Pentagon Federal Credit Union “Real Estate Rewards Program”– Up to $10,000 in closing costs paid for you
- Pentagon Federal Credit Union will pay up to $10,000 in closing costs including but not limited to: appraisal fee, tax service fee, CLO access fee, title fees, transfer tax fees, credit report fee, flood certification fee, recording fee, survey if required and work verification fee.

- Prudential Real Estate Incentive – $295
- Prudential will reimburse the administration fee associated with credit union transactions.
- Pentagon Federal Title Incentive- $300
- PenFed Title will credit the buyer $300 towards title fees at settlement.

- Prudential PenFed Realty– 0.5% of your Sale Price towards Closing Costs
- PenFed Credit Union members who register for the “PenFed Real Estate Rewards” program are eligible to receive a closing cost credit from Prudential PenFed Realty equal to (1/2%) of the sales price when their transaction is closed with a Prudential PenFed Realty referred agent. This credit is available to not only credit union members but also those who work with our brokerage for their current home’s sale and new home purchase.

- Access Capital Mortgage Incentive Program- $400
- Our partner Mortgage Affiliate will pay you a credit towards your closing costs as a credit Union Member when financing your home with them.
