Today marks the third anniversary of the launch of and we couldn’t be happier to keep this journey going. Year three was even better than year two and we continue to look forward to a long future of covering all the best stories, businesses, real estate, food, specials, events, people, and more in South Baltimore.

In year three we doubled traffic, redesigned the site, increased our coverage of the real estate market, and continued to meet amazing people doing great things in the community. We also added Mary Wargo to our team as Director of Sales and she has been a tremendous addition.

As the founder of the site, this personally continues to be the most rewarding project I’ve ever been a part of and, on behalf of the entire team, I thank everyone for all of the support and encouragement.

Much of the growth that has experienced can be directly attributed to how much exciting stuff is constantly going on around SoBo. Businesses are growing, shops and restaurants keep opening, real estate keeps getting hotter, a major renaissance is brewing at Port Covington and the Middle Branch, the O’s and Ravens are competing for championships, park improvements are taking place, crime continues to drop, and the spirit of community seems to only be getting stronger.

We thank all the first responders, community leaders, business owners, entrepreneurs, innovators, chefs, real estate developers, professionals, and all the amazing neighbors who make covering this area such a joy.

So here’s our toast to year three and now on to year four. Thank you South Baltimore – let’s talk tomorrow!
