BARCS Release:
ROCKERS TO RACE CARE DRIVERS STRUT THEIR STUFF FOR BARCS
Pawject Runway Features Fashionable Animals on the Runway
Baltimore, MD- It’s the hippest fashion show on four paws! Show Your Soft Side’s Pawject Runway on Monday, May 11 at the Royal Farms Arena. Co-chaired by Frank Remesch and John Rallo, the show features a five-star line up of Softies like long snapper Morgan Cox, lacrosse phenom Paul Rabil, Rebecca Corry from NBC’s One Big Happy and wide receiver, Gerrard Sheppard modeling the latest in adoptable animals from the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS). Emceed by 98 Rock’s Sarah Fleischer, there will be music compliments of DJ Lil Jetta, food, drink and enough tabby stripes and brindle coats to show the world what’s really in vogue. Pawject Runway helps the available BARCS dogs and cats find their way out of the shelter and into loving homes.
“There’s no other event like it in Baltimore where you can spend an evening with famous faces from the NFL to the lacrosse field, MMA to rockers and race car drivers – all to benefit the homeless and abused animals at BARCS,” says Sande Riesett, president, Show Your Soft Side.
As the BARCS adoptable animals strut their stuff down the runway with local celebrity accessories, all proceeds from this unique fashion show benefit the animals at BARCS. Silent auction and raffle prizes include four box seats and field passes to an O’s game; flight, hotel stay and tickets to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park; a year of fine dining and a guitar signed by the entire 2014 Baltimore Orioles team.
Presented by sponsors Matt & Maria Wieters, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, Electric Entertainment and Media Works, tickets and more information is available at: http://baltimoreanimalshelter.org/news-events.
