While the 2024 General Election took place this week with much focus on the presidential election, there were also many local positions and questions on the ballot.
Former President Donald J. Trump is now the President Elect, Angela Alsobrooks will be Maryland’s new United States Senator, Brandon Scott was reelected as Mayor of Baltimore, Zeke Cohen will be the new President of the Baltimore City Council, Zac Blanchard will be the new District 11 City Councilman, John T. Bullock was reelected to the City Council in District 9, Phylicia Porter was reelected in District 10, and Kweisi Mfume was reelected as the District 7 Representative in Congress.
Two questions on the ballot in Baltimore that received a lot of attention were Question F and Question H.
