We’re Jeb and Jade, a dynamic duo of 4yo twin tabbies.  Jade (right) is a total sweetheart who loves giving kisses and sitting in your lap.  Jade’s brother Jeb (left) starts off a little shy but is very sweet and he loves to snuggle with his sister and human friends.  We are wonderful and strikingly beautiful kitties and we’d love to join your family in time for the holidays.  Come meet us at BARCS today! &

My name is Libby, and I like to chatter.  Once you pet me and we get acquainted, I promise to love you, wriggle my tail at you, and roll over for belly rubs.  I am curious and am enjoying learning to play with toys.  I use my litter box faithfully and am a clean petite little girl with a kitten-face despite being all grown up!  I am already up-to-date on my vaccines, spayed, and ready to go to my forever home.  So please come down to BARCS to adopt me.  The best news of all:  because I am 6 years old, my adoption fee is waived!

Hello! My name is Tangerine, because of my pretty light orange fur. I’m a handsome young guy (just 2 years old!) who came to BARCS because my previous owner had too many of us… so I have lived with and like being around other cats! I’ve got a big tomcat head but I’m a very gentle dude. I love to be scratched above my tail and will do an “elevator-Butt” move to show my appreciation. I’d love a warm home for the holidays! Please come to BARCS and meet me today!

Adopting a shelter cat is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these kitties, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions:  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact Joe at [email protected] or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact [email protected].  If you cannot adopt or foster the cats but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the BARCS website.
