Little William The market for new construction townhomes in South Baltimore remains very active as another large new townhome is rising out of the ground on the 1700 block of William St. in Riverside. The home is being developed on a former vacant lot by Thunder Realty and is being constructed by Westland Builders Construction Management Group LLC. Construction has been underway for more than a month and they are expecting to complete the project this November or December.

The 28 ft. wide luxury home will be approximately 2,500 square ft. and will include three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a back patio, a second-story deck off the kitchen, a rooftop deck, and a two-car garage. The home will feature a 22 ft. by 28 ft. sunken living room and a kitchen described as ‘huge.’ Bill West of Westland told SouthBMore.com that the front bedroom on the third floor features views of the stadiums and the back bedroom on the third floor features views of the Patapsco River. The rooftop deck also features 360 degree city views.

The home will likely be listed somewhere between the upper $600,000s and the low $700,000s.

West and his company have been very busy in the last couple years as they have completed construction on more than 30 new construction townhomes between South and Southeast Baltimore, most of which were sold before construction was completed including a ten-home project called Harbor Square in Federal Hill. The company also recently completed construction on five new homes at The Townes at Marshall Green in South Baltimore and is currently constructing a five-home project at the former McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home at 130 E. Fort Ave. in Federal Hill, as wall as large single family home at 1417 Webster St. in Riverside.
