Meet Dan the Man! This happy, energetic 2 year old boy loves to play fetch, and he has a blast playing and training on the agility equipment. When he’s especially happy and excited he hops around like a little kangaroo! He loves to play with the other dogs here, and has a high energy play style. He is also flirty and affectionate, and will give you lots of kisses if you let him. Please come to BARCS to meet him today!

blue Blue

Blue is impeccably handsome from head to toe. This 7 year old boy has excellent leash manners, especially after just a few minutes of exercise. Blue is housebroken and already knows a few commands like “sit.” This boy is treat motivated, focused, attentive and eager to learn. These things should make additional training fun and fruitful. Please go meet this gorgeous boy with the fantastic pittie smile.

King is an energetic, happy-go-lucky and handsome 1 ½ year old pup. This smart, attentive boy is a joy to train – he responds very well to direction. He is learning basic commands and walks well on leash once he gets over his initial excitement at being outside. He appears to be housebroken and already knows “sit”. He is affectionate and enjoys a nice calming massage. Come to BARCS to meet him today!!

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi.  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact [email protected] or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact [email protected].  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the BARCS website.
