Lexus, Pop and Raegan Looking for their Forever Home at BARCS!

| July 8, 2015 | 0 Comments

Hi, I’m Lexus! I’m an active, affectionate 3½ year old girl that loves pets and butt scratches! I’m good on my leash and I enjoy walks – I’m a curious girl and I like to explore. I really like being outside and I love toys. I’m great at fetch, and I’ll drop the ball for you every time! I will sit very nicely for a treat, and I’d love for you to teach me more. I also love to romp in the play yard with my doggie friends here. Please come to BARCS to meet me today!

Hi, I’m Pop, and I’m such an exuberant, happy 4 year old boy! I enjoy going outside – I LOVE the yard and it’s so fun to run around and play. I especially love to play with a ball. I like treats and I will “Sit” nicely for one. I’ve been working on my leash walking and I’m doing great – I’m very smart and eager to learn. I’ve also been told I’m such a handsome fellow, with a beautiful coat! Please come to BARCS to meet me today!

Hi, I’m 6 year old Raegan! Everyone here at the shelter says I’m super affectionate. I love to be pet and I’m very cuddly. I don’t even mind if you dress me up in silly outfits! I’m a very smart girl – I know “sit” and “stay”! I’d love for you to teach me more. I enjoy going for walks and I’m good on my leash. Please come to BARCS to meet me today!

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions:  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact [email protected] or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact [email protected].  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the BARCS website.
