Bishop, Archer and London Looking for their Forever Home at BARCS!

| August 5, 2015 | 0 Comments

Hi, I’m 4 year old Bishop! I’m quite a handsome fellow and would be a perfect addition to any  household. I’m not picky and will gladly join you in all types of activities – I love to catch and fetch tennis balls, go for a hike, swim, I’d even make a great running partner. I recently attended an event at the Blue Pit BBQ, and I was very we’ll behaved – I enjoyed just hanging out and soaking up the attention. I also went on a hiking and swimming outing – swimming is fun! I’m great with other dogs, and even help with socializing the other dogs here. Come down to BARCS today and say hi!

Hi, I’m 2 year old Archer! The folks here call me a true gentleman! I’m very friendly and I love to snuggle. I don’t even mind if you dress me up! I walk extremely well on the leash. I enjoy playing with the other dogs here, and I’m great at zooming around the play yard and having fun! I have an adorable fuzzy white chest and I love getting chest rubs. Please come to BARCS to meet me today!

Hi, I’m 3 ½ year old London! I’m a gentle, sweet, affectionate girl – all I want is love! I’ll even let you dress me up – as long as we’re spending time together I don’t mind what we do! I’m happy and very playful. I love to play with other dogs. I have such great doggy manners that I’m often used to help socialize less experienced dogs. I’m an all-around wonderful girl – please stop by to meet me at BARCS today!

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions:  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact [email protected] or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact [email protected].  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the BARCS website.
