A lease has been signed for a new 3,723 sq. ft. 121-seat restaurant at mixed-use South Baltimore development 2 East Wells. The lease is conditional upon financing, receipt of a liquor license, and community support. Jon Mayers of the Chesapeake Realty Partners, the building’s owner, told SouthBMore.com the new restaurant does not yet have a name and would be an exciting destination restaurant headed up by a team that includes a well-known chef and a manager from a popular local restaurant. Mayers said there would be the potential for outdoor seating.

FullSizeRenderA new Class “B” Beer, Wine & Liquor License has been applied for by KGJJ LLC with off-premise catering. The application will be heard by the Board of Liquor License Commissioners for Baltimore City (BLLC) at some point after January 21st.

2 East Wells was completed in early 2015 and features 153 apartments and a 260-car parking garage with 29 spaces available for retail use. 2 East Wells also has an additional 2,141 sq. ft. retail space. Mayers said Chesapeake Realty Partners is in negotiations for a breakfast/lunch and prepared food concept business for the space that he described as “dynamite.”
