H&S Bakery’s ‘Kneads Bakeshop’ Hosting Pop-Up on Fort Ave.

Kneads Bakeshop, a bakery and cafe by H&S Bakery, is opening a pop-up location at 838 E. Fort Ave. in Riverside/Locust Point. The two-story, 3,800 sq. ft. building was the former home of The Loyal Oyster.

Rise and Shine, Locust Point! 🌞 This May, Kneads Bakeshop, is thrilled to announce our cozy pop-up café at Anthem House, located at 838 E. Fort Avenue.

Our new venture, blossoming in the heart of South Baltimore, comes to life through the incredible support of @bozzuto and @warhorsecities, developers of Anthem House, who share our commitment to enriching the community with fresh, locally-sourced dining.

As we expand our roots within Baltimore, we cherish the opportunity to become a part of the vibrant Locust Point neighborhood, offering the same beloved baked goods, coffee, and light fare that have made us a local favorite.

🎉Join us in celebrating this new chapter, where every visit feels like coming home.

Paterakis told SouthBMore.com, “we are locked in for a few months. If we see good traffic, we will pursue a long term lease.”

Kneads’ first location is at 506 S. Central Ave. in Harbor East, near the H&S commercial bakery. A second location is coming to Cross Keys in Roland Park in the fall.

Kneads’ menu  at Harbor East features breakfast platters, breakfast sandwiches, quiches, waffles, bagels, donuts, pastries, sandwiches, pizzas, salads, soups, and more. Beverages include coffee, espresso, teas, lattes, beer, wine, and cocktails.

Paterakis said the Locust point pop-up will have same bakery items, but a smaller breakfast and lunch menu. “If there’s demand and it’s super busy, we will extend our menu and hours,” she added.
