Roxie: Back on the Market

| July 25, 2012 | 4 Comments

Update:  Roxie is now with her forever family, congrats!

If you are looking for a well-socialized dog who you can take to the dog park from day one, Roxie is your gal.  She participates in BARCS’ “playgroup,” which consists of supervised outdoor play among the most well-balanced dogs at the shelter.  In addition, Roxie is housebroken.  AND there’s more…

Roxie is the BARCS “Pet of the Week,” which means that her adoption fee is waived through July 31st.

Roxie is very well behaved and friendly.  She walks great on a leash and loves belly rubs. However, she’s missing a forever home.  Look at that face!  Do you have room in your heart for her?  Come to BARCS to meet her today!

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet Roxie, please contact Joe Miletti at If you are interested in fostering, please contact  If you cannot adopt or foster Roxie, but would like to help on her quest to find a forever family, please share her story via social media.
