Adam

Adam wants nothing more than to be someone’s companion.  In addition to being a very handsome dog, he is loving, affectionate and gentle.  If you are looking for a great couch or snuggle buddy who walks gently on the leash, he is the dog for you.  He is just under a year old and is thought to be a hound/terrier mix.  Adam just wants to give and get love and can’t wait for his forever family to come meet him!

Eldar

My name is Eldar and I’m a happy dog!  I love people and I love to go on walks or play in the yard.  I’m very smart and have a lot of love to give.  I’m only two years old, so I’m still just a young pup and I’m ready for you to teach me new things.  People say I’m a good looking dog and I have to admit, I think the same.  Please come down to BARCS and take me for a walk.  I would love to meet you and would love to give you some kisses!

Hershey

Hershey is a silly boy who loves his block of cheese – he wishes he could carry it everywhere he goes!  This chocolate love is also very sweet and is a volunteer favorite.  He plays a great game of fetch and knows how to sit.  He loves to run and play with the other dogs here.  Hershey is a two-and-a-half year old terrier mix.  He was adopted and then unfortunately returned when the owners moved.  He is very confused as to why he’s back at the shelter.  Please come meet him and give him the home he deserves!

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please contact Joe Miletti at JMiletti@barcsanimalshelter.org. If you are interested in fostering, please contact foster@baltimoreanimalshelter.org.  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media.

Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) is located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi.  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.
