Beverly

beverlyHi, I’m Beverly! I’m a smart, sweet, 3 year old girl. I’m a beautiful dog with cute, floppy ears. I have a calm nature and enjoy snuggles and pets, but I’m very willing to engage in fun activities. I even like to play with the tunnel, A frame, and some other agility equipment. I know sit and I’m motivated by treats and praise, so I’ll learn quickly with a loving adopter. I am friendly and playful with the other dogs here. Come to BARCS to meet me today!

Lady

lady2Hi, I’m 4 year old Lady! I’m an affectionate girl that loves pets and belly rubs. I love being pet behind my ears and close my eyes and relax when you hit the right spot. When someone comes to visit me I wag my whole body, not just my tail! I have a blast in the play yard, and love to use the agility equipment. I “sit” perfectly for treats, and just look at those cute little freckles! Please come to BARCS to meet me today!

Hi, I’m 1 year old Red! I’m a very affectionate lady who loves to play! I enjoy playing fetch and tug-of-war in the yard with our volunteers, it’s so much fun! I also LOVE playing with toys. I adore everyone I meet. I am working on my basic skills like “sit”, and walking politely on the leash. I’m a smart girl so I’m learning fast. Please stop by BARCS to meet me today!

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi.  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact info@baltimoreanimalshelter.org or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact foster@baltimoreanimalshelter.org.  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the BARCS website.
