Charles and Wells Pocket Park Grand Opening on Friday
A new pocket park at a previously vacant city-owned lot at the corner of S. Charles St. and Wells St. is having a grand opening this Friday from 4pm-6pm. Chesapeake Realty Partners, owners of the adjacent 2 East Wells and 1901 South Charles developments, has secured a 10-year lease with the city to adopt and maintain the lot. It recently completed a renovation that includes new landscaping, patio stones, dog stations, and the removal of an old fence. New benches will also be installed.

The park will include benches for relaxing, beautiful landscaping, pet stations, and YOU, the residents of SoBo!
The event will be held this Friday, September 9th from 4PM-6PM in the park. Light food and refreshments will be served. Our favorite local businesses and community leaders Councilman Eric T. Costello will be there to help us celebrate this attractive addition to our neighborhood. Please join us!
