sashaSasha

Look at this sweet face!  Sasha is a volunteer favorite at BARCS who has been waiting patiently for her forever home.  At 5 years old, she is over her puppy shenanigans; she is a well behaved, gentle, yet playful girl who walks well on her leash and is housebroken.  Sasha is on the smaller size so she is the perfect dog for someone wanting a petite pet.  She is dog friendly with her peers at the shelter, loves to give her human friends kisses, and she is ready to go to a wonderful home.  Please come to BARCS to meet her today!

Dubi3Dubi

This is Dubi, a perfect little pocket sized terrier mix with beautiful brindle stripes.  At 5 years old, he’s past his puppy naughtiness and just wants to hang out and have fun.  He’s very sweet and well behaved.  He loves to lay around outside, especially if he’s getting tummy rubs.  He was very well behaved while getting a bath after having a good time in the muddy play yard.  Come visit sweet little Dubi today!

Decker1Decker

Meet Decker!  This 2 year old terrier mix is a very happy boy!  He loves to run in the play yard and roll around in the grass, and his very favorite thing is getting belly rubs.  Decker always has a great big smile on his face, and looks at you as if to say, “thanks for coming to visit me – lets go have fun!”  He’s a good boy who knows sit and will accept treats calmly and gently from his handler.  Won’t you please come down to BARCS and meet him today?

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi.  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact Joe at JMiletti@barcsanimalshelter.org or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact foster@baltimoreanimalshelter.org.  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the  BARCS website.
