Gotti Big Boy has his name for a reason – he’s quite the big boy!   He’s a 3 year old large terrier mix.  This handsome chunk has quite the block head; the pictures just don’t do him justice!  He’s an affectionate sweetheart. Gotti is getting sad at the shelter, and is starting to lose weight from being stressed.   One of our volunteers loves him so much that he has a training scholarship to help him transition into his new home.  Please come to meet him soon, and give this big teddy bear the forever home he deserves!

Tara is a little lovebug!  This 1 year old terrier mix walks well on the leash and loves to go for walks.  She has fun rolling around in the grass and loves getting her belly rubbed!  Tara is really an amazing dog!  She is super sweet, very affectionate, knows sit, and loves to run and play. 🙂

Cherry is a gentle girl who just wants to be loved.  She’s a 1 year old hound mix.  She is a bit timid but opens up when out of the kennel, and would really open up in a safe, loving home. This darling walks very well on the leash and already knows how to sit.  Cherry has been at the shelter for far too long, and we don’t understand why because she is such a wonderful girl!

Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these pups, please contact Joe Miletti at JMiletti@barcsanimalshelter.org. If you are interested in fostering, please contact foster@baltimoreanimalshelter.org.  If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media.
