Decker, Cena and Preston Available at BARCS!
Hi! My name is Decker and I’m a very happy 2 year old boy! I love to run in the play yard, roll around in the grass, and get belly rubs! I’m not too big, so sometimes my friends here let me crawl up into their laps for even better snuggles and belly rubs. I’m a good boy who knows sit, and I’m eager to learn even more. I’m so happy to get a treat, and will take them calmly and gently from your hand. I’m very treat motivated, so I’m more than happy to learn when treats are involved, hee hee! The volunteers love to take me for a walk because I’m lots of fun, and I pay attention. Won’t you please come down to BARCS and meet me today?
Hi, I’m Cena (aka Jayden)! I’m a happy-go-lucky, exuberant 1 year old boy that absolutely loves people. My whole body just wiggles with excitement to be around you, and I love to give kisses. I’m adventurous and will climb all the way over the tall a-frame in the play yard, stopping at the top – at perfect kissing level – to give you a smooch! I already know how to sit, and listen to corrections and positive reinforcement so I can learn even more. My friends here say that I would flourish with consistent training. I also am friendly with other dogs. If your family is looking for a happy, young, active dog, please come meet me today!
Hi, my name is Preston! I’m a sweet and pretty 3 year old girl. I’m very curious about all the different smells around me, so I’ve been taking my time to sniff out this new place! I’m super friendly, and I get so excited to meet a new friend. I smile the sweetest, prettiest smile when it’s my turn to go outside. After a romp around in the play yard, I’m quite content to hang out – I love to cuddle and give kisses! I know how to sit, and I walk well on the leash. I’m hoping that someone will adopt me and teach me even more. I would make an excellent family member, so please come by to meet me today!
Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations. If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230. For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi. BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm. Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.
For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact Joe at JMiletti@barcsanimalshelter.org or visit the website.
