Excerpt from communication from Major Ian Dombroski:

On Wednesday June 24th, Southern District officers led by Sgt. Marc Camarote conducted narcotics enforcement in the Riverside Community in response to recent complaints. They executed a search and seizure warrant at 1708 Light Street, room 16. Heroin was recovered from the dwelling and the officers arrested a 42 year old male and a 41 year old female.

Officers also conducted surveillance nearby and observed a suspected narcotics transaction in the area of Belt and Heath Streets involving a vehicle. Officers followed the vehicle containing three suspected drug suppliers. They stopped and arrested the three men on the 1500 block of Boyle Street (two 25 year old males and a 19 year old male).

Recovered items from the vehicle and from the three men included the following:

21 vials and bags cocaine
15 items of suboxine and oxycontin
22 bags marijuana
92 gel caps heroin
$4894 cash
87 unused scratch off lottery tickets

Officers thanked concerned members of the Riverside neighborhood who provided the valuable tips that led to these arrests and seizures. As always, the tipsters will remain anonymous.
