Baltimore Police Make Arrest in String of Burglaries

On February 3, 2015, a total of five break-ins and one attempted break-in occurred in Federal Hill, Otterbein and Riverside. SouthBMore.com received the following update from Baltimore City Police Department (BCPD) Southern District Major Ian Dombroski:

In reference to the rash of burglaries which occurred in sector four in early February, Officer Williams, Officer Toomire and Sgt Henry investigated the incidents in conjunction with district detectives. They obtained search and seizure warrants for addresses in the 100 block of W Hamburg Street and the 1000 block of Leadenhall Street. On 2/10 and 2/11 they executed the warrants. Recovered from one home was a large amount of electronics believed to be stolen. At least one item was confirmed taken from one of the burglaries.

The BCPD arrested a 20-year-old male and is continuing its investigation of the incidents.
